In the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, I was approached by Martin Beattie, owner of Leicester based architectural services company SBA Design LTD, with a brief to re-design to his exisiting website. Having launchedin 2015 and following the impact of the pandemic, Martin needed the website to be updated in terms of both design and the service offering, as the business portfolio had expanded its services to now include homeowners as well as residential developers.

With an extensive portfolio that has grown since the launch of the business, it was a priority that the design and layout of the navigation was clear and simple for both homeowners and residential developers visiting the website. As a designer, Martin had a very clear vision for the website and so combined with my technical knowledge of Squarespace functionality, we set to work collaboratively over the course of the month with frequent remote contact maintained through Zoom calls. The result was a brand new, clean and contemporary website that struck the balance between proudly showcasing the portfolio of SBA Design Ltd and its service offering for two distinct clients; homeowners and residential developers.

Social Media Management

As part of an integrated and strategic approach and to ensure that we were maximising every opportunity with regards to raising awareness of SBA Design Ltd online, I was also tasked to create a social media strategy specific to the architectural industry for both existing and newly set up social media platforms. Once set up, for a short period, I managed the social media platforms to help continue to strengthen it’s online presence and pave the for way for Martin to take over once fully confident.
